The term "sprint" can be confusing since different teams and project management methodologies define it in their own way. In Taka , a sprint refers to:
A fixed period of time lasting between one to four weeks.
When planning a project, it’s easy to fall into one of two extremes:
  • Over-planning : Mapping out months of work in detail, which often becomes outdated or irrelevant as things evolve.
  • Under-planning : Jumping in without a clear structure, which leads to chaos, delays, and missed goals.
Taka's 1-4 week sprint model strikes a balance between these two approaches. It provides just enough structure to create a clear, actionable plan, while remaining short enough to adapt and pivot as new information or challenges arise. This approach ensures consistent progress without sacrificing flexibility.

Sprint Inputs Explained
To set up a sprint, you'll need to provide three key inputs, as shown in the diagram:
    1. Start Date : This defaults to the current date and time but can be adjusted as needed. Some browsers may require you to specify the starting hour as well.
    2. End Date : Choose an end date that falls within a few weeks of the start date to maintain a focused and efficient sprint.
    3. Name : This is automatically generated based on the start and end dates (e.g., "Oct 10 - Oct 24" ). However, you can customize it to anything that makes sense for your team.
